There had been news about the Malaysian bike maker interested in investing in India. It seems this rumor will pretty soon be a reality with company disclosing that it really is interested in entering the Indian market.

The company plans to launch the 150cc DMX-R bike and the 250cc Cougar cruise series in the beginning and then go on to release the other range of scooters and mopeds. The last time they showcased their bikes in the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi and were received with overwhelming response.

The company is hopeful that they will be able to hit the right cords with the Indian bike lovers. Though India has been a lucrative option for two wheeler makers, there is a lot of effort that needs to go for companies to actually satisfy the Indian bike lover with the correct mix of features.
